Everyone needs a shtf stockpile.
Be it a go-bag in the closet or a shipping container in the woods. We cover everything from handguns and rifles to food, water, knives, first aid kits, and more.
Everyone should have a first aid kit available to tend to wounds and injuries. A well-stocked first aid kit contains disinfectant, alcohol, eyewash, antibacterial cream, band-aids, bandages, gauze, tweezers, sutures, needles, burn ointment, hydrocortisone cream, antihistamine, and pain reliever. Depending on your location, a snakebite kit can be added. A small first aid manual is also helpful.
Is like a mcgyver gadget with all tools in it. Water purification or filtration get a permanent match, flint or magnesium rod. Duct tape – for practical use for shelter, crafting, repairing, etc. First aid and emergency kit – ideally first aid kit be placed inside a water proof container. Para-cord or rope – very durable and can be used for many things. Fishing gear – nice to have a rod and reel. But, not necessary, all you need are lures, fish eggs and fishing line. Poncho – staying dry, keeping warm or make into a container to carry items. Flashlight and extra batteries – though, its nice to have tactical lights.
You never know when you’re going to get hurt or run across someone else who is. I’ve kept a trauma first-aid kit in my car for as long as i’ve been driving. There have been several times, when i was the first one on the scene of an accident, even if that accident was nothing more than a kid falling off their bicycle. By having a good first-aid kit in my trunk, i’m able to at least start taking care of them, before the ambulance gets there. Of course, if you’re going to carry that trauma kit, you need to know what to do with it.
